Martin Aleksandrov. Communication Intern at Perspectivity

Age: 22 Nationality: Bulgarian

At my internship I am developing mainly my graphic design skills. Creation of promotional materials, branding a product – ‘’Perspectivity Views’’ (coming out soon), communication and collaboration with people and time-management were on the table during his stay in Perspectivity.

What attracted me to Perspectivity is the company organisation itself, as I am interested in work in a flat organization with no strict and solid structures. Moreover, I was curious about discovering new angles of view at various global challenges, and learning more about myself. Today at Perspectivity I am investigating the social development and complexity, deepening my insight into sciences and various global aspects, searching for opportunities for changes. If I had the chance to eliminate some Global problems, I would first get rid of the mankind tendency towards power, greed and egoism. Let’s shift from love for power to power of love.

Regarding to my main project – association cards called “Perspectivity Views’’, I am on the final stage of completing the product. A unique design and a new concept were created. The product was tested a few times. The first prototype is just about to come out. Now, I am dealing with finding an affordable and reliable printing company to produce the product, a way to market the product and the copyright issues.

On the other hand, I am working on my university thesis paper. The research is about finding a communication solution to the problem of low interaction and engagement amongst Perspectivity’s Network of volunteers. During my last month at Perspectivity, I will be spreading questionnaires and conducting interviews with Network Members and looking for a relevant way to bring dialogue and activity within.

In my future, I want to travel around the Globe, to see as many countries as possible, and to learn more about life. Later in my life I want to work as a free-lancer in visual communication and graphic design.
