For many years, I have supported governments in policy and decision-making from a process-oriented, legal or administrative angle. These challenges mainly concern the area of the physical living environment but also go beyond that. My input varies from contributing to strategic visions, policy analyses, evaluations, legislation and regulation to advising on process design and policy implementation. I also assist in the clear formulation and communication of policies.
I am used to working in a force field of diverging interest and opinions, keeping an eye out for the positions of the people and organisations involved. My guidance makes potential conflicts of interest explicit and provides opportunities from bridging them. My commitment is to unleash creativity and, at the same time, provide structure and oversight. In this way, sustainable solutions are found for complex challenges. For me, feasibility and support are paramount in this. In other situations, the emphasis is on clarifying the development goals of teams or individuals.
My education is as an environmental expert and I followed training in the field of organisational development and coaching.

Building the future of development cooperation

Various stakeholders from the Dutch development sector went to work with these questions. Perspectivity designed and facilitated the six-months-long process.
