Eneco management has a vision:
- From central to local generation of energy;
- A more customer-oriented approach to the market.
This vision leads to more responsibility for the employees of the power station in Utrecht, but also creates more risk.
Resistance
To achieve the new vision the organization has to change. A smaller management team takes tentative decisions, delegates responsibilities and the entire organization develops a more customer focused attitude. Most of the employees have however not yet embraced the vision.
Embracing uncertainty
Perspectivity facilitates a number of sessions to create urgency for the organizational change, and to redesign the organization together with employees. There is much room for valuing mutual doubts and embracing the uncertainty about the future.
The result: A more effective management team which is again widely accepted by the organization.
