The world through the eyes of a child

Perspectivity consists of people dedicated to help building a sustainable society. We are convinced that with the knowledge, technology and resources available, there are fantastic opportunities for mankind to live and develop with meaning and dignity in a sustainable, mutually enriching environment.

In a constantly changing world we have to change along with it, to create new ideas and solutions for difficult and complex problems. In order to promote new perspectives we decided to look at the world with a more simple and innocent mindset. Naturally, seeing the world through the eyes of a child can provide a clear perspective on what is important in the world and what we can do to change it. A child’s honesty and directness provides open minded and unbiased answers.

In order to explore complex and theoretical topics we interviewed the children using socratic questioning. In this way, we tried to dig deeper into underlying reasoning behind their answers by asking them about their motivations and true inner beliefs. This also allowed them to show their wisdom and stimulates the viewer to reflect and discuss such honest answers.

This video explores topics that are at the core of Perspectivity’s philosophy such as; complexity, inspired dialogue, self-expression, positive interactions, passion/compassion, and sustainability. By seeing the opinions of a child we are able to look at the world from a different perspective, one of pure intentions for a hopeful future. It provides us with the opportunity to rethink how we see the world and how we interact with each other in order to create a more positive environment and sustainable future.
