Many pitfalls lurk for teams cooperating closely together. Patrick Lencioni has written a nice book about it: Five dysfunctions in teams. Perspectivity is set to work at the Group Control department of the ANWB to help the team recognize and avoid these pitfalls.
It starts with sufficient mutual trust. At first sight, this may not seem the biggest issue in a new team, because there is little common history which can make it go wrong. Yet setting the tone, even for a novice team is very important. Without vulnerability, there is no openness. Without openness, there is no confidence. The day with Group Control was dedicated to getting to know and recognize each other’s preferences in cooperation. For this we used the MBTI personality profiles.
