Perspectivity embraces Restorative Circles as a way to deal with conflicts or tensions. The philosophy and approach, based on the ideas of Dominic Barter, are in line with the dialogue approach of Perspectivity. We explored the philosophy and approach and organized a training in facilitating recovery circles.

There was tension within the Network and in September the first restorative circle was requested. Charlotte Keijzer together with Martijn Hunter facilitated the pre-circles and restorative circle in Utrecht. We were able in one evening to not only settle our arguments about the grant requests, but we also took time to explore, to be heard and to say those things that needed to be said. This resulted in restoration of some cracks in our network and it was a wonderful evening connecting with other Perspectivity members.
