Ruim 50 stakeholders ontmoetten elkaar begin november in het Palm Beach resort in Saly, Senegal. MKB-ondernemers, HR-professionals, vrouwenorganisaties, support professional uit de publieke en private sector, financiers en onderwijsprofessionals. In stakeholdergroepen reflecteerden ze op wat ze al doen (trotsen) en nog niet doen (spijten) in reactie op deze trends. Vervolgens verbeeldden ze hun ideale toekomstscenario\u2019s voor de sector. Hieruit werd de common ground gedestilleerd \u2013 dat wat iedereen wil voor de toekomst. CBI draagt bij aan de economische ontwikkeling van ontwikkelingslanden en opkomende markten, door export naar de Europese Unie te stimuleren en ondersteunen. <\/p>\n<p>Een van CBI\u2019s negen speerpunten is lokaal eigenaarschap. De Future Search methodiek is bij uitstek geschikt om het lokale ecosysteem te activeren, doordat \u2018het hele systeem\u2019 \u2013 uiteenlopende stakeholders met belang bij en invloed op het vraagstuk \u2013 in \u00e9\u00e9n kamer te brengen en samen op zoek te gaan naar gedeelde belangen.
