Perspectivity Privacy Declaration (the Community)

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We handle your data with care and act according to the General Data Protection Regulation that came into effect from 25 May 2018. Below we explain what you can expect from us concerning your privacy.

Use of your data 

You have the possibility of leaving data with us via the contact form on the website and/or a link at the bottom of our newsletters.

What data do we collect? 

We store and process only the data that you supply to us:

  • Name
  • Last name
  • Email address

What do we use your data for? 

To send your newsletters or the complexity navigator e-book. Perspectivity send 4 types of newsletters:

  • General Perspectivity Newsletter
  • Perspectivity Challenge Newsletter
  • News about upcoming trainingen
  • News about upcoming events

You can register for all types of newsletters or a selection of those.

Note: every mailing send by Perspectivity contains a link at the bottom of the mailing. Through this link you can edit your preferences, unsubscribe or control and change your personal data at all times.

If you signed up to receive the Complexity Navigator e-book, you give Perspectivity permission to send you emails with the e-book and other information about complexity.

Storing your data 

We store your data for as long as is necessary and no longer. If you unsubscribe from our mailing list we will immediately stop sending you mailing and delete you email address and your data from our administration.

Sharing personal data with third parties 

We never use your data for sale to third parties or commercial purposes with external parties.

We send newsletters via the Mailchimp programme; email addresses are also stored in Mailchimp. Part of our user agreement with Mailchimp is their declaration about adequate and lawful data processing.

Cookies and analysis

We make use of Google Analytics services. This is a programme that tracks and analyses behaviour of users on the website. We have access to the data generates by Google Analytics. The data is anonymised. We cannot link the data to (for example) your email address, your exact location or other personal data.

The Perspectivity website makes use of cookies. These are small text files that are placed on your computer. This information can be recognised by our website at the next visit.

Do you have a complaint? 

In case of questions or suggestions, please contact us via info@perspectivity.org. If we cannot figure it out together, you have the right based on the privacy regulations to enter a complaint with the Authority for Personal Data.

Use of your data 

You have the possibility of leaving data with us. For example to receive our newsletters, to register for a training, to place an order or request a service.

What data do we collect? 

When you register for our newsletter, or fill in a sign-up, request or registration form, you are asked to submit your data. We store and process only the data that you supply to us. This can be the following data:

  • Name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Invoice address
  • Education
  • Biography
  • Preferred training date
  • Data about your question or request

What do we use your data for? 

  • To answer your questions and to call or email you
  • To send you the Complexity Navigator e-book and other information about complexity
  • To inform you about changes in products or services
  • To complete your registration for a training
  • To send your our newsletter, as according to the law. Every email contains a link to unsubscribe.
  • To make invoices
  • To send information about your training
  • To check whether your education or experience is sufficient to join a training
  • For administrative purposes and legal administrative requirements concerning accounting and taxes
  • For optimal functioning of the website

Storing your data 

We store your data for as long as is necessary and no longer.

If you unsubscribe from our mailing list we will immediately stop sending you mailing and delete you email address and your data from our administration.

The data that you supply on a request form will be deleted after answering your question, unless you register for a training or purchase a product or service. Then we will use your data in our administration. We will store this administration for at least 7 years, because this is a legal requirement for businesses in relation to taxes.

Sharing personal data with third parties 

We never use your data for sale to third parties or commercial purposes with external parties. It is possible that we pass on your data if that is necessary for the delivery of products or services, for example to obtain a trainings certificate from a third party. We also store your data to comply with legal requirements concerning administration and accounting.

For example, we use an accountant and accounting software Exact Online in which we store payment data. We send newsletters via the Mailchimp programme; email addresses are also stored in Mailchimp. Part of our user agreement with Mailchimp is their declaration about adequate and lawful data processing. To request certificates for Deep Democracy training we pass on your data to the Lewis company.

We only provide your data to third parties in case this is necessary for the execution of the agreement we made with you or to comply with legal requirements.

With these external parties we document in an agreement that your data cannot be used for other purposes and that they will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary. Like this, your data are also safe with external parties.

Viewing, editing or deleting data

If you receive our newsletter, you can also view your data, edit your preferences and unsubscribe by clicking on the link at the bottom of each mailing (‘Update preferences’ or ‘Unsubscribe’).

The data for which a legal requirement applies cannot be deleted.
