Passionate and driven developer and process facilitator, constantly looking for ways to generate energy and motion together with others in realizing complex social challenges. My primary expertise is setting up, activating and further developing learning networks. I create safe and value-free environments in which professionals from different organizations and disciplines learn with and from each other to become better in their profession or to work together on a complex challenge or transition. With interactive programs I create the conditions to let the available collective knowledge, experience, creativity and energy flow, so that a steeper learning curve is created.
I am very fond of winding paths, being curious about a world that unfolds step by step. My career is also showing surprisingly whimsical patterns: project leader dredging in Nigeria, assistant production leader at the opening of the Amsterdam Arena, project manager at the North/South metroline. These are just a few examples. My true passion I found in the world of learning, developing and sharing knowledge. First as program manager of Kennis in het groot (King), later as an innovation strategist at Neerlands diep, the academy for public construction, infrastructure and energy projects.
I look at the world around me with wonder. In my work I combine my creativity with a strong critical and analytical reflection capacity. I am a conceptual thinker who always tries to cast a multiple view on reality. I see making connections and asking good questions as my core competencies. I switch easily between strategic and operational level. In my spare time I am a cabaret artist and singer-songwriter. I also like to move around in a sporty way: skating, running and mountain hiking, preferably on winding mountain roads of course.
