They say life is what happens while you try to make other plans. If everything would have worked out as in my early childhood dreams, I would be an artist like my mother or a teacher like my father. If my teenage self could choose, I would be a translator. At university, I thought I would become an industrial designer, and later an interaction designer through my MSc at the TU Delft. Somehow, I have ended up being both all and none of those things, picking up a wide range of skills along the way.
In my work, I seek to create spaces where people can share their stories, listen actively to others, and spark possibilities together for a different world. My strengths lie in creative facilitation and qualitative and generative research methods, as well as visual, user-centered communication. My chest feels especially warm when working on projects related to heritage, culture, and education for young and old.
As the new Young Enterpriser of Perspectivity, I apply my background in facilitation, research and design to tackle complex social issues. As María, I bring my determination, sensitivity, and openness to connect and learn together.
In my free time, I can be found dancing, enjoying any small ray of sunlight, or asking questions in the hopes of hearing a good story.
