Perspectivity supports an new initiative in the maritime sector by MVO Nederland (CSR Netherlands).
It addresses the shipping industry, from design to demolition. A coalition of some 15 champions in the sector is formed. Perspectivity facilitates the development of a long-term vision, strategic directions and initiatives in the months of September through December 2014.
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is an integral vision on sustainable business, whereby decisions are characterized by considering the different social and economic effects and stakeholders interests are taken into account. The shipping sector represent a new initiative for MVO Nederland and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is subsidising the efforts to strengthen the sustainability of this sector.
