The thread running through my career is contributing to a more just world. For over 25 years, I have gained experience in many countries and contexts with various aspects of how organisations function in their socially complex environments.

My academic training in anthropology and communication has given me both the power to observe patterns, to engage in partnership and to co-create knowledge resources.

In all my accompaniment – whether individual, organisational or systemic – I strive for a combination of critical reflection through learning-in-action and learning on action. In doing so, I invite people to sense, imagine, experiment and reflect. My strength lies in accompaniment, in “walking together” in the field of learning and in designing and facilitating complex change processes.

As a facilitator of complex processes, I enjoy working with MIT’s Theory U, IFF’s Three Horizons and appreciative inquiry. I appreciate courageous collaboration, a collaboration that can also be confrontational when necessary, because change and innovation rarely happen without resistance. That is why I enjoy working with dialogue-oriented methods, including Lewis Deep Democracy.

I consider my work and life as a whole; I learn everywhere and try to live by what I find important wherever I go. My family, my colleagues and the individuals and organisations I work with are a great learning experience. Everyone contributes to my growth because they lovingly give me the space to create together, make mistakes and practise compassion.
